Last modified: 10 Oct 2005
The new Delirious? single, 'Paint The Town Red' has been released in the UK today (10th October). The song is taken from their forthcoming new album 'The Mission Bell', which is due for release on 7th November. This is the first CD-single the band have released to the UK mainstream market in nearly four years.
'Paint The Town Red' is availale as a CD-single from HMV and Virgin Megastore. The three track CD contains the original version of the song (2:19 mins), the 'Audiostar Radio Re-mix' of 'Paint The Town Red' (3:01 mins), and the 'Audiostar Re-mix' of 'Rain Down' (3:59 mins) from the previous 'World Service' album. The remixes were done by German producer Udo Rinklin.
Delirious? have also released 'Paint The Town Red' on the
iTunes online music store. Downloads from iTunes also contribute towards the UK single chart, and with the combination of both the CD-single and the iTunes download it is hoped that Delirious? will once again enter the UK charts when they are revealed on Radio 1 this Sunday (16th October). Delirious' biggest hit to date was in 1999 when their single 'See The Star' reached number 16.
