Delirious? are preparing to take the world by storm with their latest album 'The Mission Bell'. It will be released in the UK on 7th November, with a seven-date UK Tour in December to promote it. A single, 'Paint The Town Red' from the album will be released in the UK on 10th October in record stores and 11th October on iTunes.
'The Mission Bell' will also be released in the USA by Sparrow Records on 26th December, in Canada by CMC Distribution on 15th November, and in Germany by J-Star records on 14th November. The album will be further promoted in the USA by radio singles and a US Tour in March 2006, details of both are yet to be confirmed. The album's artwork (see above right) features an exclusive illustration by French artist Benjamin Savignac and is one of the most contemporary album covers the band have ever used.
The album is already being described as having
"the lyrics from Glo set to the tunes of World Service sung with the devotion of Cutting Edge". Cross Rhythms said of the album:
"Some magnificent new compositions from Mr Smith, some sonic wizardry from Kiwi producer Sam Gibson and an open-hearted vulnerability and Holy Spirit boldness which permeates the whole project... The boys are to be congratulated with such an explosive rock 'n' roll dynamics... 'The Mission Bell' rings out with a defiant note of faith in these troubled times. It will surely resonate in the hearts of tens of thousands."
