(Nashville, Tenn.) February 4, 2003 - Furious? Records Inc.'s multi-million selling Delirious?, heralded by tens of thousands worldwide as Christian music's best live rock worship experience, releases its first live double-CD, Access:d: live worship in the key of D, April 8.

With 26 tracks, Access:d, pronounced "accessed," spans the breadth of the band's best-loved fan favorites, present and past. Featured on the recording is such Delirious? classics from Cutting Edge as "What A Friend I've Found" and "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever," the latter boasting some vocals sung by Martin in Spanish, next to crowd-pleasers like "Deeper," "History Maker" and "Sanctify." More recent gems from Glo and Touch include "My Glorious," "Investigate," "Touch" and "Fire." (Full track listing below.)

Although Delirious?'s full musical history is represented, Access:d is being heralded as no ill-fitting patchwork of old and new, of acoustic early works that are swamped by their oversized later offerings. Each track was recorded during 2002 and 2001 tours in America and abroad and reflects the latest musical invention by the five Delirious? lads, Martin Smith (vocals), Stu Garrard (guitar), Stewart Smith (drums), Jon Thatcher (bass) and Tim Jupp (keyboards). In fact, whether old or not so old, the tracks, like everything about the band, are intensified when delivered in person from the stage. The emotions are stronger, the choruses bigger and the improvisation inventive.

"Much like Live And In The Can (Delirious?'s first live album), Access:d welds the pre-planned with the spontaneous, capturing those 'I was there...' moments that go to make Delirious? gigs what they are," says Tony Patoto, Delirious? manager and Furious Records CEO.

"And if you're wondering why the name 'access:d,' the answer is clear," continues Patoto. "It's not some reference to getting backstage at a show, but instead a rally cry for us all to sign up to a closer walk with God. This live album is more than a souvenir of a great gig: it is to be used as an invitation, a kick start to some kind of holy determination to have God access all we have. Hold nothing back. Hold everything up. Hold on tight."

From humble beginnings performing in its neighborhood school hall to headlining events worldwide for hundreds-of-thousands, the Delirious? story has remained essentially the same: Delirious? comes alive on stage.

"The band has always caught people's attention and made an audience stop to think, always given the public an experience unlike the norm," reflects Hugh Robertson, head of Furious Records Inc. in the US. "To celebrate this fact, Furious Records is proud to announce the release of the band's most inspiring live album yet. Seeing Delirious? live is an experience, different for each person. Access:d captures that experience on CD."

Giving a "shout-out" to the fans in the liner notes for the recording, Delirious? member Martin Smith says, "Thank you to everyone around the world who has turned up to see us play. Without you none of this would be possible...Hope you enjoy, and you never know, you may be on this record!"

Early critical reviews are already unreservedly heralding the recording. "Access:d is simply one of the best live albums available," says a reviewer for ChristianToday.com. "...it's a portrait of a band that blends live rock energy with truly passionate worship better than anyone else...if you've ever wondered what all of the hubbub is about concerning the so-called live worship experience that is Delirious?, this is your answer....a simply smashing live album..."

Delirious?, also heralded last month as Seventeen magazine's first pick for a "Christian artist that will rock you, whether you're a Christian or not," continues to be one of the most significant catalysts leading the modern worship movement. From leading worship in its local church to being featured on tour with internationally-renown artists such as Bon Jovi, Matchbox 20 and Bryan Adams, Delirious? continues to erase the line between rock and praise music, re-enforcing the emerging concept that worship should be part of every facet of life.
