The GMA Music Awards, commonly referred to as the Dove Awards, are voted upon by members of the Gospel Music Association, and the winners will be announced at a live ceremony at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville on 13th April. The Michael W. Smith song, 'Healing Rain', which Martin Smith co-wrote, has also received three nominations, including 'Song of the Year'. In the Rock Album of the year category, 'World Service' will be up against albums from Skillet, Sanctus Real, Hawk Nelson and Taylor Sorensen.

Delirious? were last nominated for a Dove Award back in 2002, when they received two nominations. The band appeared at the awards ceremony that year, performing 'I Could Sing' live on stage. But despite receiving a total of nine nominations over the past six years, they have yet to win an individual award. The only Dove Award the band have received to date was for the 'Streams' compilation album, which Delirious? contributed a song to. The album won the 'Special Event Album' award in 2000.
