Delirious? are about to start a ten-day tour covering both Australia and the USA. The band departed for Australia without bass player Jon Thatcher who has stayed back home to look after his wife and new son Jackson, who was born on Wednesday (7th September). Delirious? will begin the tour by performing at the Harvest Crusade in New South Wales on 9th and 10th September.
Whilst in Australia the band will also be playing concerts at the Hillsong Church, Sydney (11th), Mansfield, Queensland (13th) and Glenorchy, Tasmania (14th). Delirious? will then travel directly to California in the USA to perform at the 'Stage1 at Candlewalk' event in Corona on 16th September. This will be followed by an apperance at 'Jammin Against The Darkness' in Seattle, Washington on 17th September.
Jon's son was due to have been at the end of September, after Delirious? returned from the tour. But due to the baby being born four weeks early, Jon has been unable to join the band for the tour. Delirious? have instead asked Mark Prentice to stand in as bass player for the 6 concerts. Mark is a vastly experienced bass player and has recently played bass in Tim Hughes band.
