Perfoming at someone else's concert is never an easy thing to do, but Delirious? managed to entertain and keep the interest of the Hyde Park crowd in London who had gathered to see Canadian Rocker Bryan Adams. From the moment the 'Mission Impossible' style intro video flashed up on the screen the gathered audience were hooked. Launching straight into 'Fire', with flames super-imposed over the band on the video screens, Delirious? took the stage by storm.

'Show Me Heaven' was next up quickly followed by 'Bliss' with Stu G's special solo verse. The crowd joined Martin in energetic jumping as he promised not to back down. The stunning 'My Glorious' featured Stu G at his best and the applause that followed showed the crowd had been impressed. As the music continued softly in the background Martin sung choruses of "Open up the doors and let the music play" and then "We're gonna dance in the river...".

Clearly wanting to keep the Bryan Adams fans on side, Martin reminisced about the days when he used to listen to 'Summer of 69' as he drove along in the car. 'Hang On To You' was next up, then 'Everything' complete with the wind, rain and fire video. The surprise inclusion of 'Touch' followed, and then 'Deeper' which was introduced as a "Top 20 hit". During the song Martin climbed onto the crowd barrier and surveyed the scene of hands clapping in time.

'History Maker' belting out in a venue as large as Hyde Park took on a whole new meaning and breaking into Bryan Adams' own 'Run To You' in the middle only increased the crowd appreciation further. Delirious? then slowed the mood down with a few repeated lines of "My heart burns for You...". Each band member seemed to have their own solo to peform during 'Investigate' as shooting stars twinkled on the video screens. It was an exquisite way to end an incredible afternoon. Never looking out of place on the biggest of stages, Delirious? will once again have made some new friends.
