Sparrow Records Press Release - 12 January 2004
The UK comes to the USA on February 10 when WORLD SERVICE, the dazzling new studio album from British worship rock group Delirious?, hits stores across America. Three days later, the must-see-live band begins a set of 40 stateside concerts, many with Teen Mania ministries.
Released last month in the group's native England, WORLD SERVICE is already creating "their best album yet" buzz among consumers, and that excitement is translating across the Atlantic Ocean. The disc's first single, pop-flavored worship anthem "Rain Down," is quickly being added to new Christian hit and adult contemporary radio stations, and another standout ballad, "Majesty (Here I Am)," is now available for free download with sheet music on the home page at
WorshipTogether.com.
Overall, listeners agree that WORLD SERVICE combines the best of every strength Delirious? has ever displayed: it's an entertaining, ministering, honest and original work of passionate rock and humble worship. Other hitbound tracks include "Grace Like A River," "Free," and "Every Little Thing."
Delirious? will showcase these songs and more, including classics like "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever," when the quintet joins Teen Mania's "Acquire The Fire" conferences from February 13 through April 24, also playing several solo concerts during that period.
