With the sound of summer well and truly on the decks, it's time to unleash plans for the next wave of UK auio bombs. On July 23rd we'll be releasing our second single of the season, and we just had to let you know. You see, 'Take Me Away' isn't just another Delirious? track with a power-surge chorus, head-spining guitars and all-night beats: it's even more. Even more of a stadium anthem, even more of a passionate jump-fest, even more of a hear-it-once: sing-it-24/7 instant hit. 'Take Me Away' is pure Delirious?: distilled, bottled and labelled with a deep breath. Just make sure you're sitting down when you hear it first.

'Take Me Away' picks up a theme started by 'Waiting For The Summer': the tunes are radically creative, sitting up and tweaking the ear of all wthin range. The five lads and producer Chuck Zwicky (Prince, Madonna, Semisonic) have climbed over into a new field, one where the beats are bigger, the sounds weirder but the pop and fizz is most definitley turned up full. Appreciated by musos and jumped about to by the young punks, the new sound is 100% right.

'Waiting For The Summer' did what it needed to do in early June, it waved the flag after a one-year absence from the charts and proved once more that d:fans are the best around. Thanks for all your support, and we hope you enjoyed seeing the lads on the likes of CBBC and Live & Kicking. Press, radio and TV were all up on before, and paved the way for a further adventure with this next single. Oh yeah, we reckon that playing to over 250,000 people at the Bon Jovi gigs hasn't exactly harmed the band's chances either. So, people, believe this: the good stuff has only just begun, and with the material we've got ready to come out, who knows where it could all end. Keep up to date on www.delirious.co.uk and remember the 23rd July: we'll be there for ya.

Most importantly, a big thank you for supporting 'Waiting For The Summer' & all those that came along to the Bon Jovi UK Tour... Cheers

Martin, Stu G, Tim, Jon, Stew.
