SINGLE
On the eve of the fifth D:single's release we've been busy sorting things out. The band have been on plenty of trips to the big city to smile a lot and shake people's hands. The pluggers have set up some tasty media coverage, which should give you plenty to look out for over the next couple of weeks. Here's the story so far:

PRESS
Times Metro,
Guardian Guide,
Scotsman,
TOTP,
News Of The World (14/3),
Kerrang! (17/3),
Maxim (25/3),
Rock Sound (12/4),
The Sunday Telegraph (14/3),
The Sunday Times (14/3),
Uncut and MOJO.

TV
The Box (video on rotation),
Bedrock,
Trouble @ Breakfast,
Carlton Kids,
Chris Moyles (ITV 2),
Hype and Melinda's Big Night In (24/3).

RADIO
The single is still being supported big time by
London's X fm,
Atlantic 252 (18/3),
MC Europe,
Unique and Rock over London.
The temperature's rising, and it looks like we could be up for a decent placing. Remember, if you all manage to get yourselves a copy in the first week, then the results could be HUGE. No pressure though.

The office has just taken a shipment of the CD 2 versions of See The Star. The CD ROM video has come out well (if you can get over the slightly unnerving experience of the band watching you while you are watching them), and Jon's work on the remix of Obsession is pure poetry. Where the remix of See The Star on CD 1 takes an UNKLE vibe, Obsession is much more minimal. Put it on repeat as soon as you get it home and you'll see what I mean.

TOUR
The Pre-Morphis Tour was a BIG SUCCESS. Not only did most of the venues sell out, but the crowds were lovely and the band had a great time. Stew even went as far as describing the tour as 'the most enjoyable thing Delirious? had ever done'. Like the others he said it was a total laugh and he loved playing the new songs. For Jon the whole thing was 'nice to breathe some fresh air and see some fresh faces after being in the studio for so long.' Because he was brought up so well, Jon also wanted to say thanks to all of you who turned up. Isn't that nice?

BOOTLEG BLAGGERS
Thinking about the tour, I can remember when the band played at Manchester Academy on the d:tour of 1997. As well as being supremely sweaty and one of the most intense and charged atmospheres of any Delirious? gig EVER, it was also the fist one to attract ticket touts. A few days later at the Shepherd's Bush Empire, we had our very first bootleggers - we all thought that meant the band had made it. In those days the bootleg range was pretty dull, a faded t-shirt and a dodgy poster but we were wondering if they've managed to get any better yet.
Just for a laugh why not email us with your stories of D:bootleg gear that you've been offered at gigs. Get your answers in by April fools day and the most outrageous one will win a signed copy of the album.
