Furious? Talk About DeEPer In The Charts
Last modified: 09 Nov 1997
Furious? Records Press Release: "deEPer charts @ 36. The fourth single out this year from Delirious? yesterday entered the CIN charts at number 36. Disappointed? You must be joking.
"The fans" says manager Tony Patoto
"have done us proud. They have shown a commitment to the band that constantly surprises, both us and the industry at large." This rerelease of the jump-fest 'Deeper' has continued the band's trend for making an impression, and as far as the media go, charting the single twice is yet another eyebrow raiser.
The crew returned home yesterday from the d:tour. If you didn't make it ask someone who did. Fact is that save a couple of the more 'regional' venues (no prises for guessing Grimsby & Cornwall) the tour was a sell-out and gave the punters more for their money than virtually any other band. Saturday's gig at Southampton Guildhall managed to be a life-changing experience. A tad OTT? Not for one guy who proposed to his unsuspecting girlfriend from the stage. What a historymaker. For any who missed out on the d:tour, Furious? Records are pleased to announce a one-off gig at The Watford Coliseum on Saturday 20th December. Doors are at 7pm, tickets are £8 on 01923 445000. Although the gig won't feature the d:tour's visuals, it will come neatly packaged with supporting from the band Taste, currently odds-on favourites as the scene's next big thing."
Furious? Records also says about a possibile Delirious? web site:
"Yes, we do have plans for an official site, although we aren't sure who will do it or when. We are about to take on a new Graphic Designer so I hope we'll sort it our really soon."
