'Kingdom Of Comfort' Wins 'Best Christian Contemporary Album'

'Kingdom Of Comfort', released by Delirious? in April, won the 'Best Christian Contemporary Album' award at the UK's Christian Broadcasting Council music awards on 21st November. The awards, organised in conjunction with Cross Rhythms, were announced at the annual CBC Conference that took place in Manchester's Salford Quays.
Other award winners this year included Lou Fellingham 'Promised Land' (Best Christian Worship) and Hillsong London 'Hail To The King' (Best Christian Music DVD). The CBC awards are a long established celebration recognising the best in the UK Christian music industry. The annual conference is a Trade Show for Christian Publishers and Suppliers from across the UK and Europe.
Delirious? have a long and successful history at the CBC music awards, having won the Christian Contemporary Album award for previous albums World Service (2004), Audio Lessonover? (2002) and Glo (2001). Last years winners were thebandwithnoname for their 'Dying To Be There' album.
