Last modified: 24 Oct 2002

Artist: Delirious?
Label: Furious Records USA
Date: 24 Oct 2002

Additional CD Features Six Live Performances, Three Video Favorites

Multi-million selling and modern worship's founding band Delirious? will defy the industry norm Nov. 19 with the release of its highly anticipated and fifth studio album, Touch. Accompanying every copy of the album sold through the band's recently launched label, Furious Records Inc., will be a bonus disc that includes six compelling live performances of fan favorites and three highly sought after music videos.

With greater creative freedom through Furious? Records Inc., and in keeping with the label's promise to be artist driven, Delirious? chose to deliver more than even their fans expected. Known for providing the industry's best live concert experiences, music buyers have eagerly waited for a live offering from the band. Answering that call, the bonus disc boasts six songs recorded during Delirious?'s US tour during June and July of this year. Included on the disc are live performances of the chart-topping hits "Deeper," "My Glorious," "Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble," "What A Friend I've Found," "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever" and "There Is A Light."

In addition to the live songs, the disc also features the music videos: "Take Me Away," from Touch; the video for the Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) Top 10 worship song and Dove Award nominated Song of the Year, "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever;" and the live "Sanctify" video recorded in front of an enormous, enthusiastic crowd of 50,000 at London's Wembley Stadium back in 1997.

"The attitude of the band reminds me of the approach the Beatles took when they first hit the states. Instead of giving fans singles with only one good song, the Beatles put a 'good' single on the flipside, essentially giving the fans more than they asked for," comments Furious? Records Inc. head, Hugh Robertson. "Delirious? taps into that mentality of giving more to their fans, and Furious? Records Inc. fully supports the band's decision."

"Unlike many bonus CDs, this is not a limited time offer," notes Furious? Records Inc. marketing director Don Heap. "Essentially, Delirious? fans are receiving two complete projects for the price of one."

From leading worship in its local church to being featured on tour with internationally-renown artists such as Bon Jovi or Bryan Adams, Delirious? continues to be one of the most significant catalysts leading the modern worship movement. Trademarked by its simultaneous ability to perform edgy tunes while leading thousands in glorifying God, the band continues to erase the line between rock and praise music, re-enforcing the emerging concept that worship should be part of every facet of life. Furious? Records Inc., a division of UK-based Furious? Records, was launched this year by Delirious? and band manager Tony Patoto, now Furious? Records CEO. In addition to Delirious?, the label is home to GRAMMY-nominated and radio-chart-topping band All Star United and one of the most prolific praise and worship singer/songwriters from Europe, Graham Kendrick. The label is distributed by the world's largest Christian record distributor, Chordant Distribution, a division of EMI CMG.
