Further details about Delirious' forthcoming appearances on Bryan Adams' tour have now been revealed. Delirious? have been invited to be 'special guests' on Adams leg of the 'Route of Kings' tour at Leeds on 19th July, London 20th July and Cardiff 21st July. They will be taking all the added extras from their recent Fire Tour with them, including the video and visual effects.
The 'Route of Kings' is a series of spectacular outdoor concerts that are held around the UK each summer featuring some of the biggest names in Rock music. Artists such as UB40, Rod Stewart and Paul Weller are all taking part at different 'Route of Kings' concerts this year, with Sting, Tom Jones, Van Morrison and others taking part in recent years.
Delirious? are clearly thrilled to be given the chance to open for Adams on his 'Route of Kings' dates, with lead singer Martin Smith saying
"This is a serious privilege and one of those opportunities that have to be jumped on as soon as they come along". The band have already started receiving media attention for their part in the tour, with the UK news website
Ananova.com featuring an item about Delirious? supporting Bryan Adams.
