Last modified: 16 Dec 2006
Delirious? celebrated Christmas last night (15th December) with their annual Christmas Show in London. The concert, at The Shepherds Bush Empire, featured some of the best songs from The Mission Bell, plus older favourites and some festive surprises. Delirious? were supported by internationally acclaimed worship leader Matt Redman and his band.
The traditional Delirious? Christmas Show started in 1999 and has taken place in London every year since then. Last night, alongside songs such as 'Miracle Maker', 'Now Is The Time' and 'Take Off My Shoes', the band performed classics such as 'History Maker' and 'Metamorphis'. During 'Solid Rock' the band were joined on stage by TV stars Carrie and David Grant.
Later in the show a choir came on stage to sing backing vocals for songs such as 'Majesty', 'Our God Reigns' and 'Stronger'. Getting in the mood for Christmas, there was also a cover of 'Blue Chirstmas' and a special rock rendition of 'Hark The Herald' plus the obligatory fake snowstorm to finish off the night.
