Last modified: 20 Sep 2004
The second Delirious? single to be released in Germany, 'Every Little Thing', is currently at number two in the airplay chart of major mainstream German radio station SWR3. The single was released in Germany last week (13th September) and entered SWR3's airplay chart at number three, before climbing to the second spot this week.
Delirious? are currently just ahead of artists such as Bryan Adams, Duran Duran, Maroon 5 and Robbie Williams in the airplay chart. SWR3 have been a strong supporter of Delirious? since they signed with German record label J-Star and released their first single in the country 'Inside Outside' back in March. Over the weekend Delirious? have been in Germany to promote the single after SWR3 invited them to headline their 'New Pop Festival' in Baden-Baden on 18th September.
During their set at the 'New Pop Festival', held in a fairly small theatre in southern Germany, Delirious? performed tracks from their 'World Service' album, including 'Grace Like A River', 'Inside Outside' and their current single 'Every Little Thing'. With their appearance broadcast on German TV, Delirious? will have received more valuable publicity for the single. The following day (19th September) Delirious? travelled to neighbouring Switzerland to perform a concert in Volkshaus near Zurich.
