'Every Little Thing' Single Released To German Radio Stations
Last modified: 19 Jul 2004
'Every Little Thing' is set to become the second single from Delirious? to be released in Germany. 'Inside Outside' was released in Germany by J-Star/BMG in March, and reached number 1 in the airplay charts of major German radio stations. Since then record giants BMG have ended their links with J-Star, delaying the release of a second Delirious? single from the 'World Service' album.
J-Star have now decided to continue as an independent record label in Germany, with Delirious' own label 'Furious? Records' as their UK partners. Udo Rinklin, who produced the German radio remix of 'Inside Outside', has now produced two radio remixes of 'Every Little Thing'. The single was sent to radio stations across Germany last week, and has already started receiving airplay on some stations. No release date has yet been set for the CD to go on sale in Germany however.
Despite spending 10 consecutive weeks in the airplay charts, 'Inside Outside' failed to make much impact on the German sales chart, peaking at number 72. J-Star and Furious? Records will hope that 'Every Little Thing' can once again capture the high level media attention that 'Inside Outside' received, but this time go on to make a more significant entry into the sales chart. Delirious? will be able to promote the single when they perform at the "SWR3 New Pop Festival" in Baden-Baden, southern Germany, on 18th September.
