Busy 2007 Lined Up For Delirious? With New Album, Book And Tours
Last modified: 03 Jan 2007
Delirious? look set to continue last years hectic schedule with an equally busy year in 2007. The band's thoughts have already turned to their next studio album, with the writing process now underway. They will again be working with Sam Gibson, who produced The Mission Bell, when they enter the studio early this year to start recording the new album.
If the band follow their usual timescale, fans can expect the new album to be released towards the end of 2007. But before then Delirious? will be releasing a new book, titled 'I Could Sing of Your Love Forever: Stories, Reflections and Devotions'. In it Martin and Stu G will tell the stories behind some of their most popular songs. The book is due to be released in May.
In 2006 Delirious? performed 92 concerts in 24 countries, and despite needing to allocate time for studio sessions, 2007 looks like being another year of travel for the band. More than 30 concert dates have already been confirmed, including a major US Tour with Rebecca St James in the Spring. There will also be visits to Canada, Singapore, India, Ukraine and South Africa.
