Delirious? Perform At UK Glastonbury Festival
Added: 28 Jun 1999

Delirious? played at the UK Glastonbury Festival on Sunday 27th June. Their midday set was on the mainstage in front of a mainstream audience of tens of thousands of music fans. The band were introduced on stage by TV star Neil Morrisey who said before the performance "We're going to be at Glastonbury on the Sunday. They're going to stay at my hotel in Somerset, we're going to chopper them in and I'm going to introduce them on stage at Glastonbury."

Delirious? set, although not broadcast live, was recorded by the BBC and may be shown in future highlights programs. However, whilst presenters of the TV coverage interviewed other bands, Delirious could be heard singing 'Heaven' live in the background! The previous day, 26th June, Delirious? had played to 55,000 fans at the Amsterdam Arena (Ajax Stadium) in Holland at Europe's largest Annual Christian event.
