Life is a strange old beast!? Amidst the incredible tragedy of September 11th and the breaking news of the retaliation attacks from the "new" coalition, things, life and the universe seem to command a new perspective.
At times like these releasing records seems the last thing from all of our minds, however, today a brand new compilation of delirious? favourites has been released in America.
What's the deal?
Sparrow Records, our label in the USA, have compiled a collection of the most popular worship songs from the "Cutting Edge", "King of Fools" and "Mezzamorphis" albums. To give the record an extra sparkle we went back into the studio and recorded brand new versions of the classics,"Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble?", "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever", "Lord You Have My Heart", and a new song called "Not Forgotten"......which we are sure you are going to love. The finished product sounds fantastic and has been entitled "Deeper, The D:finitive Worship Experience".
When will the record be released in the UK?
Why have they released this in America and not the UK when it all started in this neck of the woods?
Good questions, but we have our reasons..... Next year is the 10th anniversary of the first ever Cutting Edge event, so to commemorate this coming of age we feel it fit to release a special UK edition of this stunning compilation especially for all of you dedicated fans. Also, on December the 10th 2001 we are releasing the new version of "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever" to the UK. It will only be available in High Street record stores and will be plugged to radio in the usual ways.
We are currently in the studio rehearsing ready for November 15th which is the start of the UK D:tension tour. We'd love to see you there.
