UK-based Furious? Records, home to critically acclaimed artists Delirious?, All Star United and Graham Kendrick, announces the arrival of its new US office in Nashville.

Formed 10 years ago by Delirious?, the catalyst for today's modern worship movement, and band manager Tony Patoto, now Furious? Records CEO, the UK label's first priority, just as it is today, was to garner worldwide attention for its artists. The business plan is to create quality music, but running the business with integrity, professionalism and Christian ethics remains the overall mission. Headed by music industry veteran Hugh Robertson, Furious? Records USA will market all Furious? product throughout the US.

"Furious? UK has garnered tremendous success with its flagship group, Delirious? and other artists, distributing exceptional music to more than 90 countries worldwide," says Robertson. "With a passion to minister to even more, the European label knew that the time was right to expand its presence into the largest Christian-music consumer market in the world."

"It all started with a couple of hundred tapes sold at the back of a school hall," says Furious? CEO Tony Patoto. "Now, ten years on, Furious? Records has made one of its biggest jumps forward since they scraped together the funds to rent a photocopier. The label's ability to keep a firm hold of its guiding principles is a testament to the grace of God. We have always dreamed big and now its time for us to spread the good news in the US."

While maintaining its independent structure, Furious? USA will partner with the world's largest Christian record distributor, Chordant Distribution, a division of EMI CMG.

"EMI CMG, via our Sparrow Label Group, has been the only home to Delirious? since its US introduction in 1997," says president and CEO, Bill Hearn. "This new, expanded partnership reinforces our commitment to Furious?'s and its artists' creativity and future success here in the US."

Patoto continues, "With the leadership of Delirious?, it's great that we can cater to bands from a band perspective. As a record company, publishing company and as a world-wide distribution company, Furious? will break bands in a way consistent with the artists' own vision."

To launch its new label in 2002, Furious? USA is scheduled to release projects from each of its artists, all on November 19. Label founders and multi-million album sellers Delirious? will release its fifth studio project in the US, Touch. GRAMMY-nominated and radio-chart-topping band All Star United will release its first project in almost four years, Revolution. And one of the most prolific praise and worship singer/songwriters from Europe, Graham Kendrick, will release What Grace.
