Tim Hughes To Support Delirious? On UK Tour
Last modified: 26 Jun 2006

Tim Hughes To Support Delirious? On UK Tour Delirious? have announced that popular British worship leader Tim Hughes will support them on their UK Tour this October. Tim is probably best known for writing the song 'Here I Am To Worship' which has become an internationally acclaimed worship song. It won the Dove Award for 'Inspirational Song of the Year' in 2003 and 'Worship Song Of The Year' in 2004.

Tim's long awaited follow up album, 'When Silence Falls', has already proved to be just as popular as his debut album 'Here I Am To Worship'. Tim first became known as a worship leader at the Soul Survivor youth festivals in the UK. He has since gone on to lead worship at events around the world, including Australia, South Africa, USA, Malaysia and Canada. He also recently became the worship director at London's Holy Trinity Brompton church. Tim's worship music may be a different style to that of recent support artists on Delirious' UK Tours, but it fits perfectly with the themes on the band's current album 'The Mission Bell'.

Talking about the tour, the band said: "Tim will be leading us as he does best, pointing the praise back to God. Also on board are Hope HIV, giving us a focus for action and prayer". The 13-date UK tour begins in Southampton on 11th October, with Tim supporting Delirious? for the first 11 concerts and Hillsong worship leader Reuben Morgan supporting the band for the final two shows.
