Delirious? Sign Deals In America With Virgin And Sparrow
Last modified: 01 Oct 1997

From the band's 'SmallTalk' mailout: Earlier this summer Delirious? went out to America to meet with Virgin and Sparrow (two labels both owned by EMI) and talk about distribution. The head of Sparrow was heard to comment that "this is the most important signing for this label in the last 10 years". Sparrow will re-package and release a double album of all the Cutting Edge material in January 1998. That will then be followed by a spring release for a single and the album 'King Of Fools' - which is where Virgin get on board, releasing the product into the American mainstream. Delirious? will follow up with a six week tour of festivals over there next summer.
